Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. She is half English half Spanish. The parents of her are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish and English descent. Taylor-Joy, who is the youngest of five children. Four of them are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family she grew up with was in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 years old until the time they moved to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the move was traumatic and she did not want to study English with the intention that she could return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she took ballet classes and appeared in school productions. After 16 she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actress. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her modeling work.
