Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish half-English lady was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father, an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English origin is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Her birthplace was in a family with six kids. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. Her family lived in Buenos Aires from the time she was six years old up until the day they left for Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy stated that moving was traumatic as she refused to take classes in English in the hope of return to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands towards Hill House. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in various productions. At 16, she left the school to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy knew from the beginning that she wanted to work as an actress. She was offered a opportunity to do so by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
