Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother hails from Spanish as well as English descendance. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan that included six children. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. She lived with her family within Buenos Aires from the time she was six years old before they relocated to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy admitted that the move had been traumatic and she refused to learn English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. She left at the age of 16 to go to the school to make a career out of acting. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to become an actor. She was given a opportunity to do so by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her an opportunity as a model.
