Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996, in Miami Florida. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is a half-Spanish an English-speaking woman. Their father is Argentine from Scottish and English descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. They was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and when they relocated to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and that she was unable to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and to perform in school's plays. She left at the age of 16 to go to the school to explore acting as a profession. As a child, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. the dream became a reality when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
