Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as a member of the group One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, created a band named White Eskimo along with three other students. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, the band also took part in 2010. Though he's been interested in the arts, he aspired to become an attorney or an physiotherapist. He worked in an area bakery on a part-time basis to support his family financially. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This is why his group was forced to break up. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group formed in 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the potential winners to win the award. They were in third place after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won. Although Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
