Sara Lynn Evans grew up on a Missouri farm as the seventh child in her family. She was born in 1971. Her love for music has always been there and began singing with her family at age 5. In the age of 16, she was hired to perform at the Columbia Missouri nightclub for a two-year period. The goal of Sara was to become an artist from the country genre. That's why, in 1991, Sara moved from Kansas City, Missouri in the state of Missouri to Nashville Tennessee. Sara was singing a song of Harlan Howard's Tiger By the Tail in County Q Studios when he heard her. He decided to let Sara perform his songs. She signed with RCA. Evans released her first record Three Chords and the Truth was released in 1997. The album was praised by critics and was among the many on their best ten albums of 1997. Her professional career started out in the form of a model and business model in France when she moved in France following her move to Long Island, New York. Later, she ventured into other directions, like becoming a radio host at Radio Luxembourg. She first appeared in French film and was in a variety of other films during the 1970s. Later on, she moved back to America for the sake of Hollywood. She achieved her biggest Hollywood success in Goodfellas and for it she was awarded numerous awards of distinction including the Academy Award nomination. Although she began her career on feature films, she then was offered opportunities on television shows and also achieved excellent success in these.
