Paula Patton has a distinguished professional career in the field of acting also a producer, director and actor. She is most well-known for her starring role as a character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled the love of movies in her daughter. Paula became involved in many activities at school that were co-curricular and had a particular interest in dramatics. She loved to play act with her classmates and took part in school's stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to be an actor in high school and she chose acting as a career. She was part of the University of Southern Cal's Summer program and enjoyed the experience to death. The program gave her a three month assignment to make documentaries for PBS. The first assignment was to be an assistant to production for TV documentaries after successfully completing her project. After that, she started producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable however, she always wanted to be an actor. Her acting journey began by playing a minor part in the romantic comedy film Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared in many popular movies and TV shows.
