
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, and film actor. She lived from January 31, 1937 to January 19th 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and she appeared in films in the 1950s and later. She then appeared in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette would appear regularly on various television productions. She also was the character Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born on January 31, 1937, in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer, who appeared on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
