Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born in Beirut. Her birthplace was Beirut, Lebanon. Arabic name'ml amal which translates as "hope". [9] Her family left Lebanon when she was two years old, in the Lebanese Civil War, and moved to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. [10] Her father Ramzi Alamuddin, a Lebanese Druze from the Alam al-Din Dynasty village of Baakline in the Chouf Districtearned his MBA degree at the American University of Beirut. In the year 1991[12]13], he returned home to Lebanon following the civil war that had came to an end. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was an international editor and political journalist for the Saudi-owned al-Hayat newspaper. Her name is 16 and she's a founder of the public relations firm International Communication Experts, which is part of a larger business that specialises in celebrity guest bookings photographs for publicity, as well as events promotion. Amal is one of the three youngest children: one half-sister (Tala), and two other siblings of her father's previous marriage. Amal was educated at Dr Challoner's high school located in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire before going to the university. After graduating from St Hugh's College in Oxford with an Exhibition Grant and the Shrigley Award, she studied at St Hugh's College. The year 2000 was the year she graduated from St. George's College in Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Jurisprudence. Following that she was accepted into New York University School of Law for the Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). She received the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award for her excellence in entertainment law.While studying at NYU she interned for a term in the office of Sonia Sotomayor, then a judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and NYU Law faculty participant.
